I’m Glad I Bought an Umbrella!

It poured all day today.

When it rains in Seoul, the streets are a sea of umbrellas in every pattern, shade, and color of the rainbow, and all the girls still wear high heels. Couples always huddle under the same umbrella. When it gets really torrent-y, everybody wanders over to the overhangs and waits the worst of it out, making small talk and messing around on their phones. Most shops have plastic bag dispensers so that you don’t drip water all over the place, which is pretty much the greatest idea that Seattle hasn’t figured out yet.

It’s like Korea is CONVENIENT or something.
